Since its re- establishment in 1986 by the community by local community after a serious harambee presided over by the current president, H.E the president Hon. Mwai Kibaki, M.P,E.G.H, Commander in Chief of the defence forces of Kenya in late 1970s, the school has maintained its position as an institution of secondary learning in Kenya. The school admits talented students throughout Nyanza province with the goal of offering them the finest secondary education to develop life- long leaders.
